Saulius Paukštys’ photography exhibition “In the Vatican Gardens” opens at the Photography Museum and runs until 15 December 2024.

This exhibition is a tour of the Vatican Gardens by photographer Sauliaus Paukštys. The viewer of the exhibition as well takes part in this unique tour. Through photographic images, we travel through the Vatican Gardens, learn about the daily life of the world’s smallest state, see the architecture and art of the Pius IV Villa, the Fountain of the Kites, The Grotto of Massabielle in Lourdes, the Vatican Radio Building, the Vatican State Railway, and the panoramic view of Rome from the top of Vatican Hill. On 13 December 2024, another meeting with the author is planned, the presentation of the exhibition “In the Vatican Gardens”, when the retrospective exhibition “Images and Visions” will be opened in the Gallery of the Photography Museum.
