BIAŁYSTOK INTERPHOTO – International Festival of Photography is an interdisciplinary event promoting photography and related media that make up the contemporary form of visual expression.
The exhibition “Visions” explores the evolution of Lithuanian photography throughout the twentieth century, highlighting avant-garde, modern, experimental, and conceptual styles. The following authors are presented in the exhibition: Povilas Karpavičius, Vitalijus Butyrinas, Aleksandras Macijauskas, Vitas Luckus, Virgilijus Šonta, Violeta Bubelytė, Algirdas Šeškus, Alfonsas Budvytis, Remigijus Pačėsa, Vytautas Balčytis, Arūnas Kulikauskas, Giedrius Liagas.
Curators of the exhibition: Valentyn Odnoviun and Vilija Ulinskytė-Balzienė.
Exhibition coordinator – Mindaugas Laurinaitis.
The exhibition opened at the Podlaskie Museum (Town Hall, 10 Kościuszki Square, Bialystok, Poland) on September 27, 2024 will run until November 3, 2024.
